Conversation Series at WantedDesign

“While a well-curated product showcase is an exciting place to be, it is made even better by the human voice ringing out with ideas and engaging with others in fruitful debate. At this year’s Conversation Series you will hear accents from Italy, France, Poland, and Mexico as they deconstruct design, making, partnerships, policy, and other things that shape their distinct design cultures and each country’s contribution to the global design dialogue. Technology is transforming every thing and every thing we do. More

To find out the latest thinking and use of tech knowledge, we talk with the sustainability officer from a software giant, an inventor/manufacturer of digital lighting systems, and a global distributor of products designed by global talent.Representatives of US design culture explore the quintessential American question: What’s Next? We will hear about product innovation at the corporate level and how young designers are laying the foundation of their own future, and the future of the designed environment. Smart and talented people talking about what they do, what keeps them up at night, and the role designers can play in changing our world for the better—what could be more interesting than that?” Susan Szenazy, editor in chief and publisher of Metropolis

WantedDesign is nearly here and something we’re extremely proud of and excited for is our Conversation Series. Held in Grimshaw’s Conversation Room, this three-day program has grown considerably over the past 4 years and this year, we’re beyond pleased to co-present with Metropolis Magazine, Ligne Roset and Axor.
