Lake and Wells

In recent years, WantedDesign has witnessed – and supported – the growing movement of independent studios created by designers/makers across the United States and Canada.

This movement, specific to North America, is the result of the market need for original, high-end customizable products that interior designers and architects can feature in their hospitality and residential projects.

Evan Z. Crane

WantedDesign co-founders Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat travelled in North America and met with designers in their studios, trying to get a better understanding of their specificities, what they needed and how WantedDesign could help them to get new clients, interesting projects and develop their business. They realized that it was important to put this category of designers in the spotlight so the A&D community wouldn’t miss them when visiting the show.

Lorekform

“WantedDesign is a platform to create business opportunities for design studios in May and during the year. It is key for us and one of the reasons why we started WantedDesign. As entrepreneurs ourselves, we understand the need for a program like Look Book and hope to make it grow,” say Hainaut and Pijoulat.
