With the guidance of the WantedDesign team and a workspace at Camp David, part of the Industry City campus, the IC + WantedDesign International Residency program offers its residents a chance to immerse themselves in this creative community to build or strengthen their network, take inspiration from New York City, as well as nurture and prepare for new projects.

Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat, WantedDesign co-founders, share their thoughts on this program: “Creating a Residency program was something we envisioned when we first met and started to collaborate with IC. Discussing for a few years as well with our partners from the international cultural institutions based in New York, we understood this kind of program was not yet existing in New York, but very appealing and interesting for designers to develop collaboration in the US . They not only get a beautiful and inspiring work space but they also get immersed in the IC rich, diverse and creative community. We want them to feel like New Yorkers when they come to their studio at Camp David every morning.”
